QA Automation Developer II, SASE Platform

Role Overview:
As a QA Engineer, you will be instrumental in the maintaining quality of our security cloud platform. Working closely with the teams, you will help build automation/manual test suites which will enable enterprise-grade connectivity. This position demands good knowledge of cloud-based containers, networking protocols. Your primary responsibilities will include development and testing of Automation/Manual Test cases for both control-plane and data-plane software Proficiency in Linux packet flow is essential.
This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of security, networking, and cloud technologies, making a significant contribution to robust enterprise infrastructure. This is an onsite role based in the Bangalore, India office, requiring presence 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and Execute: Design and execute manual/automated test suites for all cybersecurity features.
· Collaboration: Partner with PLM and Development teams to design test suites/cases and strategies. Work with cross functional teams to take the features from testing to release.
· Development: Interact with other team members to ensure efficient and high-quality feature releases.
· Automation: Use AI tools to automate the testing as much as possible so that the testing repetition can be avoided.
· System Optimization: Identify and implement improvements focused on scalability and performance of the existing system.
· Release Planning: Participate in seamless, reliable release process to deliver new features to customers effectively.
Required Qualifications:
· Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
· Professional Experience: 1 – 3 years of hands-on experience in the automation/manual QA testing of large-scale cloud deployments.
· Cloud & Infrastructure Expertise: Good experience in cloud environments using Kubernetes (K8s), VMs, Docker. Expertise in persistent, multi-cluster database.
· Programming & Scripting Skills: Java or Python, Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Postman, REST Assured, TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, Cypress,TypeScript
· API & Integration: Good experience in integrating with third-party tools and services. Proficient in REST APIs, Open APIs, and API authentication mechanisms.
· Tooling & Automation: Proficient with automation tools and frameworks. Experience with AI-based systems, Wireshark, Git, Jira, and intelligent IDEs.
· Customer-Centric Mindset: Demonstrated experience in customer-driven innovation and market-oriented product development.
Preferred Qualifications (optional):
· Experience with Cyber Security concepts and tools
· Experience in networking concepts such as Routing, Docker Networking, NAT/NPT, IPv6, Firewalls
