About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer – Java with 2–3 years of experience to join our development team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining reliable backend applications and APIs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Java.
Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services.
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following coding standards.
Work with databases and write efficient SQL queries.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
Integrate backend services with frontend applications and third-party services.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
Collaborate with developers, QA, product, and other teams to deliver features on time.
Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
Identify performance issues and contribute to backend optimization.
Participate in the complete software development lifecycle.
Required Skills
2–3 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
Strong knowledge of Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and related Spring frameworks.
Good understanding of REST APIs and web services.
Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Good understanding of Git and version control.
Familiarity with Maven or Gradle.
Understanding of software development and debugging practices.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good to Have
Experience with Spring Data JPA / Hibernate.
Knowledge of microservices architecture.
Experience with Docker.
Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of Redis, Kafka, or other messaging systems.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
