Product Designer – Aluminium Die-cast Furniture

Ibex Lifestyle designs and manufactures premium outdoor furniture in die-cast aluminium, for residential, hospitality and commercial spaces in India and the Middle East. We're backed by two decades of aluminium die-casting and metal manufacturing at Ibex Engineering, and our furnitrure is made at our own facility in Bengaluru.
We're looking for freelance designers (individuals and design studios) to work with us on a per-project basis.
How it works: we give you a written brief for a product or collection. You take it through concept, CAD and documentation. This includes working with our production team to see the product through to finish.
If you have:
• A product, industrial or furniture design background
• Strong SolidWorks or Rhino, through to production drawings
• Working knowledge of die-casting, particularly aluminium and furniture
If your design work is strong but you have no experience with die-casting, we can offer a training period with our engineering team to take you through the processes, the tooling, the materials and the finishes. This is only available to select candidates.
The design work itself is remote.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
2 - 5 years experience in product design or related field
Strong creative, design and communication skills
Portfolio of work
Proficient in Microsoft Office
