Software Engineer

Frontend Engineer | React & TypeScript | Remote (Once per month in London) | Up to £65,000
I’m working with a fast-growing technology business operating in the cybersecurity space, looking for a Frontend Engineer to help build intuitive, high-quality web applications.
What you’ll be doing
Building polished, responsive components and web pages using React.
Improving application functionality, usability and performance.
Collaborating with backend and product teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
Gathering user feedback and translating it into effective product improvements.
Creating functional requirements, mock-ups and prototypes.
Supporting backend engineers with coding and troubleshooting where needed.
Optimising applications for scalability, accessibility, security and maintainability.
Keeping up to date with frontend technologies and best practices.
What they’re looking for
Strong experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript and CSS.
Good understanding of the full web development lifecycle, from design through to deployment.
Experience with browser testing, debugging and testing frameworks such as React Testing Library.
Understanding of UX/UI principles, layout and SEO fundamentals.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
