Role Description The Ward Boy role at Blusprings Enterprises Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Vijayawada. The Ward Boy is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in assigned areas, including patient rooms, corridors, and common spaces, following established hygiene and safety standards. Daily tasks include assisting with the movement of patients or materials as directed, supporting nursing or supervisory staff with basic non-clinical tasks, and ensuring that bedding, supplies, and equipment are properly arranged. The role also involves disposing of waste according to guidelines, replenishing essential items, and promptly reporting any safety or maintenance concerns. The Ward Boy is expected to follow instructions carefully, maintain respectful interactions with patients, visitors, and colleagues, and adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess basic housekeeping and maintenance skills, including cleaning, organizing, and handling materials safely.
Candidates should possess basic communication and interpersonal skills to interact respectfully with patients, staff, and visitors.
Candidates should possess the ability to follow instructions, work under supervision, and complete tasks in a timely and reliable manner.
Candidates should possess awareness of basic hygiene and safety practices, including proper waste disposal and safe movement of patients or materials.
Relevant experience in hospital, clinic, or facility support roles is beneficial, along with the ability to work in shifts if required.
