About the Role
Sriraam Enterprises is looking for an Electrical & PLC Technician to work on the electrical, control and automation systems used in our textile machinery.
The role involves PLC programming, control-panel wiring, machine electrical work, troubleshooting and supporting the commissioning and maintenance of warping, sizing and other textile machinery.
Key Responsibilities
Basic PLC programming and program modification
Electrical control-panel wiring
Reading and understanding electrical/control wiring diagrams
Wiring PLCs, relays, contactors, sensors, switches and other control components
VFD installation, parameter setting and troubleshooting
Troubleshooting electrical and control-system faults
Identifying problems in machine wiring, sensors and automation systems
Supporting machine installation and commissioning
Testing electrical panels and machine control systems
Maintenance and servicing of textile machinery electrical systems
Assisting with modifications and upgrades to existing machines
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of PLC programming
Good understanding of electrical control wiring
Knowledge of industrial electrical components
Basic knowledge of VFDs and motor control
Ability to understand electrical drawings
Electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Basic understanding of sensors, relays, contactors and control circuits
Willingness to work hands-on with industrial machinery
Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Freshers with strong practical knowledge may also apply.
Candidates with previous experience in industrial automation, machinery manufacturing, textile machinery or control-panel wiring will be preferred.
Experience
0–3 years
Practical skills and willingness to learn are more important than years of experience.
Salary
₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Salary may vary depending on practical knowledge and experience.
