Role Description The Site Engineer role at Window Magic is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising installation of window and door systems, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring that work is executed according to design specifications, structural requirements, and safety standards. Daily activities include site inspections, measurement verification, monitoring quality of materials and workmanship, and resolving technical issues that arise during installation. The role involves close collaboration with clients, contractors, and internal teams to manage schedules, report progress, and address any site-related concerns. The Site Engineer also supports adherence to company procedures and contributes to continuous improvement of installation practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong on-site supervision skills and practical experience managing installation activities at project locations.
Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams, and for clear documentation and reporting.
Candidates should possess quality control skills, including inspection, testing, and verification of materials and workmanship against standards and drawings.
Candidates should possess structural engineering and civil engineering knowledge relevant to fenestration, façade systems, and building construction.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Experience in windows, doors, façades, or construction projects is beneficial.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, use measurement tools, and apply safety and compliance standards on site.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently under project timelines.
