Hindi Screenplay & Dialogue Writer

We are looking for a Hindi Screenplay & Dialogue Writer who can take stories, concepts and outlines and turn them into engaging screenplays with strong, natural Hindi dialogue.
The writer should understand visual storytelling, character development and episodic structure, not just language adaptation.
What you’ll do
Develop screenplays from concepts, story outlines or existing material.
Structure episodes, scenes, character arcs, conflicts and emotional beats.
Write natural, engaging Hindi dialogues suited to each character.
Improve pacing, scene progression, hooks and dramatic impact.
Adapt stories or scripts into Hindi where required while retaining originality and emotional intent.
Localise situations, humour, references and character behaviour for Hindi-speaking audiences.
Create distinct voices for different characters and settings.
Rewrite and improve scripts based on creative and production feedback.
Collaborate with directors, creative teams and video creators.
Write across genres including drama, romance, mythology, history, comedy and contemporary fiction.
What we’re looking for
Excellent command of written and spoken Hindi.
Strong understanding of screenplay structure and visual storytelling.
Ability to turn a story idea into compelling scenes and episodes.
Ability to write conversational dialogue that sounds natural on screen.
Good understanding of character development, pacing and episodic storytelling.
Ability to write for both short-form and longer narrative formats.
Strong cultural and contextual understanding.
Ability to work fast and iterate based on feedback.
Good to have
Experience writing films, OTT content, television, YouTube series, microdramas or digital fiction.
Experience in screenplay writing, dialogue writing or adaptation.
Understanding of different Hindi-speaking regions and conversational styles.
Experience writing for digital-first audiences.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a writing assignment.
