Fire Assayer

We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Fire Assayer to join our laboratory team in Perth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous laboratory experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering accurate, high-quality results.
Duties include, however are not limited to:
Weigh, flux, fire, knock up, and cupellate samples in the correct numerical order.
Perform all fire assay activities in accordance with established quality control procedures while preventing contamination.
Manage the recycling and disposal of pots, slag, cupels, and other waste materials.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment within fire assay areas.
Carry out basic non-trade maintenance of fire assay equipment.
Complete all required paperwork and electronic records accurately.
Follow established communication and reporting processes.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential
Previous laboratory experience.
Current driver's licence.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to follow procedures and work safely in a laboratory environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable
First Aid Certificate.
Forklift License.
