Role Description The Electrical Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The role involves supervising electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities on construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and in line with project specifications and standards. Responsibilities include assigning tasks to electrical technicians, monitoring the use and condition of electrical equipment, interpreting drawings and plans, and coordinating with project engineers and site management. The Electrical Foreman will inspect completed work, troubleshoot electrical issues, maintain accurate documentation of daily progress, and support compliance with safety regulations and quality control procedures.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of electricity and electrical equipment, with the ability to oversee installation, testing, and maintenance.
Knowledge of electrical design and electrical engineering principles relevant to construction projects.
Experience with power generation systems and related electrical infrastructure on site.
Proven experience in supervising electrical teams, managing workloads, and ensuring safe work practices.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
Experience in construction or infrastructure projects in an on-site supervisory electrical role is preferred.
