Role Description
IT Technician Needed — Email Server & Outlook Setup

Position Type: Contractor / Freelance
We are looking for an experienced IT technician to help us set up and configure our business email infrastructure.
Scope of Work:
• Set up and configure an email server (or assist in selecting and migrating to a hosted email solution, e.g., Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online) for expodiscover.com
• Configure DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) for proper deliverability and security
• Set up and configure Microsoft Outlook across user devices (desktop and mobile)
• Migrate existing email data if applicable
• Implement email security measures (spam filtering, anti-phishing, authentication)
• Create user mailboxes and set up distribution lists / shared mailboxes
• Provide documentation and basic training for our team
• Ensure everything is tested and fully operational before handover
Requirements:
• Proven experience with email server administration and Microsoft Outlook/Exchange setup
• Strong knowledge of DNS configuration and email deliverability standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
• Experience with Microsoft 365 / Exchange or self-hosted mail server solutions (e.g., Postfix, Mailcow)
• Ability to work independently and complete the project
• Good communication skills
