We're looking for an enthusiastic and caring Playworker / Activity Leader to join our Breakfast and After School Club team at Eastbury Farm Primary School.
This is a fantastic opportunity to help create a safe, welcoming, and exciting environment where children can learn, play, and develop through a variety of activities including sports, games, arts & crafts, and structured play.
No two days are the same, and every day is an opportunity to make a positive impact.
🕒 Working Hours
Monday to Friday
Breakfast Club
7:30 – 8:45
After School Club
15:15 – 18:00
18.75 contracted hours per week
🚀 About the Role
At Junior Adventures Group, we're passionate about delivering high-quality childcare that supports children's development through play and enrichment.
As a Playworker, you'll help deliver engaging activities, encourage participation, and create a fun, inclusive environment where every child feels safe, supported, and valued.
This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, creative, and passionate about working with children.
🌈 Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging activities including sports, games, arts & crafts, and structured play
Create a fun, inclusive, and safe environment for children
Support children during arrivals, activities, and collection times
Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and company procedures at all times
Ensure all sign-in and sign-out procedures are completed correctly
Prepare and provide refreshments while maintaining high hygiene standards
Assist with setting up and packing away equipment and activity areas
Complete accident, incident, and activity records where required
Communicate professionally with children, parents, colleagues, and school staff
Promote positive behaviour and encourage participation and engagement

Previous experience working with children (desirable)
A positive, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, responsible, and able to follow procedures
The ability to create a fun and safe environment for children
Energy, creativity, and a genuine passion for childcare and playwork
