Human Resources Coordinator (Guwahati)

About the role:
We’re looking for an HR Coordinator to support the HRBP function at our branch office of Guwahati. This role will work closely with employees, managers, and the central HR team to ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations and a great employee experience. The ideal candidate is organized, people-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced branch environment.
What you will do:
Support the HRBP in managing day-to-day HR operations for the branch.
Act as the first point of contact for employees for HR-related queries and support.
Coordinate employee onboarding, transfers, exits, documentation, and other employee lifecycle activities.
Partner with managers and employees to ensure smooth execution of HR processes and policies.
Maintain accurate employee records, HR trackers, and documentation.
Support attendance, leave, payroll inputs, employee data, and other HR operations.
Coordinate with central HR, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Admin, and other teams to resolve employee queries.
Support employee engagement activities, branch events, and internal HR initiatives.
Track and follow up on HR-related action items to ensure timely closure.
Help the HRBP identify employee concerns, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve the employee experience.
Prepare regular HR reports and dashboards for the branch.
Support the HRBP in implementing HR policies, processes, and initiatives at the branch level.
Be the operational backbone of the branch HR function, ensuring employees have a smooth and responsive HR experience.
What you will need:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in working with people.
Good organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
High attention to detail and strong follow-through.
Proactive approach to identifying and solving employee issues.
Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets and HR systems.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information professionally.
A people-first, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced branch environment.
Prior experience in HR operations, HR coordination, or HRBP support is a plus.
