Role Description The Pediatric Physical Therapist will provide direct, hands-on therapy to children with a range of neurological, developmental, and musculoskeletal conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, implementing therapeutic interventions, and monitoring progress. The role involves close collaboration with pediatric neurologists, other rehabilitation professionals, and families to ensure coordinated, goal-oriented care. Documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and outcomes in a clear and timely manner is required. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, with therapy delivered in a clinical setting and, when needed, through caregiver training and home exercise guidance.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Physical Therapy, with the ability to assess mobility, strength, posture, and functional movement.
Candidates should possess specialized Pediatric Physical Therapy skills, including experience working with children with neurological or developmental conditions.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Medicine and Pediatrics sufficient to collaborate effectively with physicians on child health and development.
Candidates should possess Rehabilitation skills, including designing goal-oriented treatment plans and coordinating multidisciplinary care.
Recognized degree in Physiotherapy (Bachelor’s or Master’s) from an accredited institution; valid professional registration as required by local regulations.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate families and caregivers and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation and manage caseloads in a structured, ethical, and patient-centered manner.
Prior experience in pediatric or neuro-rehabilitation settings is highly desirable; commitment to ongoing learning and evidence-based practice is expected.
