Role Description The Assistant Manager role is a full-time, on-site position located in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. The role involves overseeing daily operational activities, coordinating with production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to delivery timelines. The Assistant Manager will monitor performance metrics, analyze data, prepare regular reports, and support process improvements aligned with safety and quality standards. This position includes collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners, addressing operational issues, and assisting in resource planning and budgeting. The role also requires guiding team members, supporting training initiatives, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong operations and production management skills, including experience in manufacturing processes, workflow optimization, and performance monitoring.
Candidates should possess quality and compliance skills, such as familiarity with automotive industry standards, quality assurance practices, and safety regulations.
Candidates should possess planning and coordination skills, including resource planning, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and basic project management.
Candidates should possess analytical and reporting skills, including data analysis, report preparation, and proficiency with MS Excel and other productivity tools.
Candidates should possess communication and people management skills, such as clear written and verbal communication, team coordination, and the ability to support training and development.
Beneficial qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or a related field; experience in the automotive or heavy manufacturing sector; and familiarity with ERP systems and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, 5S).
