The organization is entering its next phase of growth and is looking for a high-calibre business leader to build and scale its digital commerce business with end-to-end ownership of growth, revenue and profitability.
About the Role
We are looking for a CEO – Digital E-commerce who will work closely with the Founder and take end-to-end ownership of the digital commerce business.
This is a business leadership and P&L role, suited to a proven e-commerce/D2C leader who has scaled businesses, built high-performing teams and delivered profitable growth.
Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end P&L for the digital/e-commerce business.
Develop and execute the overall e-commerce and D2C growth strategy.
Drive revenue, profitability, customer acquisition, retention and lifetime value.
Scale the brand across D2C, marketplaces and digital channels.
Own key business metrics including GMV, revenue, margins, CAC, conversion, AOV and repeat purchase.
Lead annual business planning, budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation.
Identify new growth opportunities across products, categories, channels and markets.
Build and lead high-performing teams across e-commerce, growth, marketing, merchandising, category and allied functions.
Partner closely with the Founder on strategic priorities, business decisions and long-term growth.
Strengthen customer experience and build a scalable, data-driven digital operating model.
Drive cross-functional alignment across technology, supply chain, finance, marketing and operations.
Use data, technology and emerging digital capabilities to improve business performance and scalability.
Qualifications
MBA/PGDM from a Tier-1 B-school preferred.
Required Skills
12+ years of overall experience with significant experience in E-commerce / D2C / Digital Commerce.
Proven track record of P&L ownership and business leadership.
Experience scaling a fashion, lifestyle, beauty, premium consumer or related D2C/e-commerce business.
Strong understanding of the complete e-commerce funnel — acquisition, conversion, retention, merchandising, customer experience and profitability.
Experience managing significant teams and operating budgets.
Strong commercial, analytical and strategic orientation.
Comfortable working directly with Founders / Promoters / Board-level stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
Experience in premium lifestyle brands and digitally-led consumer businesses.
