About the Role
DVC Process Technologies (I) Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Cost Estimation Engineer to support cost estimation, tendering, vendor evaluation, and commercial activities for engineering and process industry projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for goods and services.
Prepare cost estimates for vendor, machined, and bought-out items.
Establish and maintain the tendering process.
Analyze technical and commercial quotations from vendors.
Conduct vendor negotiations to achieve competitive pricing.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams for cost-related requirements.
Analyze material, manufacturing, labour, and other project costs.
Support procurement and project teams with accurate cost information.
Maintain cost estimation records, quotations, and related documentation.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization and value engineering.
Requirements
Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Experience in cost estimation, tendering, procurement, engineering projects, or process industry will be preferred.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Good understanding of engineering materials, machined components, and bought-out items.
Good communication and coordination skills.
