Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Mangaluru. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including recording entries in accounting systems, processing invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining accurate ledgers. The role involves preparing monthly and annual financial statements, reconciling bank and account balances, assisting with budgeting, and supporting cash flow management. The Accountant will ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies, and will prepare necessary documentation for audits and statutory filings. The role also includes coordinating with internal teams, external vendors, and consultants to resolve financial queries, improve reporting quality, and support management in financial decision-making.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in core accounting functions, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Candidates should possess familiarity with financial reporting and compliance, including preparation of financial statements, tax-related documentation, and support for audits.
Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and productivity tools, such as Tally, ERP or similar systems, and MS Excel/Word for data analysis and reporting.
Candidates should possess analytical and organizational skills, including attention to detail, ability to identify discrepancies, and capability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams, management, and external stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
Prior experience in accounting or finance, preferably within real estate, property management, or a related industry, will be beneficial.
