Currently, we employ 70+ full-time engineers and another 20+ hourly engaged experts. We are seeking a talented Mobile Automation QA Engineer to join our client’s innovative team. You will be working on the mobile app of one of the biggest aviation companies in the world.
About the role
As part of our QA team, you’ll work with a high-quality codebase and cutting-edge technologies to build automation tests for our mobile app(written in React Native). You'll collaborate with skilled engineers across multiple layers of the infrastructure, contributing to a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We value problem-solving at its core where root cause analysis, elegant design, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for building high-quality products drive every decision.
Requirements
Fluent English, both written and spoken
5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
3+ years of experience with automated testing
Knowledge of mobile testing frameworks for example (detox)
Basics of web development will be considered a plus
Knowledge of TypeScript
A keen analytical mind with strong problem-solving skills
A team player that enjoys working in a dedicated and energetic group
Approaching a product with an attitude that the product is already broken - it has defects and it is your job to discover them. Assuming the product or system is inherently flawed and it is your job to ‘illuminate’ the flaws.
Willingness to continuously help improve processes and procedures
Strong listening skills; Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to analyze and classify reported issues
Ability to learn and support new tools as required
