Cybersecurity GRC Instructor |Remote

Role Description The GRC Instructor will design, record, and deliver instructional content on GRC topics for YouTube and other online platforms, ensuring materials are accurate, engaging, and accessible. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and scripts, creating slide decks or other visual aids, recording and reviewing video sessions, and updating content based on new regulations, standards, and best practices. The instructor will respond to learner questions in comments or discussion forums, refine content based on feedback and performance metrics, and collaborate with the team to align materials with the overall curriculum and brand guidelines. This is a part-time, contract role that is fully remote, requiring reliable internet access and the ability to manage deadlines independently.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance concepts (e.g., risk management frameworks, internal controls, regulatory requirements, compliance programs).
Experience teaching, training, or mentoring in a professional or academic setting, with the ability to explain complex topics in clear, structured language.
Familiarity with creating educational content for online platforms such as YouTube, including basic video recording and presentation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity, organization, and learner engagement.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage part-time contract responsibilities, and meet content production timelines.
Relevant certifications or background in GRC, information security, audit, or compliance (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CISSP, or equivalent) are beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as Information Security, Business, Law, or a similar discipline) or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
