JOB PURPOSE
The IT Executive will be responsible for managing and maintaining Zestopia's complete IT and technology infrastructure.
The role will involve network management, hardware and software support, internet connectivity, CCTV, POS/billing systems, gaming technology, data security, technical troubleshooting and vendor coordination.
The IT Executive must ensure that all technology systems remain secure, stable and operational with minimum downtime, particularly during customer operating hours.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. IT Infrastructure
Manage computers, laptops, printers, servers and other IT equipment.
Manage LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches and network infrastructure.
Ensure reliable internet connectivity throughout the facility.
Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.
Maintain complete IT asset and equipment records.
2. Gaming & Entertainment Systems
Provide technical support for arcade games, VR systems and other technology-based entertainment equipment.
Coordinate with gaming equipment vendors for installation, servicing and troubleshooting.
Monitor technical issues and machine downtime.
Maintain records of gaming-system complaints and repairs.
Ensure technology-dependent attractions are operational during business hours.
3. POS & Billing Systems
Manage POS and billing systems for the game zone and café.
Ensure proper connectivity between POS terminals, printers and related systems.
Troubleshoot POS-related technical issues.
Coordinate with software/POS vendors.
Ensure regular data backup and system availability.
4. CCTV & Security Systems
Monitor and maintain CCTV systems.
Ensure cameras, DVR/NVR and recording systems remain operational.
Troubleshoot CCTV connectivity and storage issues.
Coordinate with security and management regarding CCTV requirements.
5. Network & Internet Management
Monitor network performance and connectivity.
Maintain routers, switches and access points.
Manage Wi-Fi connectivity for operational requirements.
Coordinate with internet service providers.
Maintain backup connectivity arrangements where required.
6. Technical Support
Provide timely IT support to all departments.
Attend and resolve technical complaints.
Maintain an IT complaint/helpdesk register.
Prioritize issues that can affect customer experience or business operations.
Provide immediate support for critical technical failures.
7. Vendor Management
Coordinate with IT, gaming, CCTV, POS and internet vendors.
Raise service requests and follow up until resolution.
Coordinate installation, replacement and maintenance of equipment.
Maintain vendor details, AMC records and service reports.
8. Data Security & Backup
Maintain regular backups of important business data.
Manage user access and system permissions.
Protect company systems against unauthorized access.
Maintain secure records of system credentials.
Implement basic cybersecurity practices.
9. Preventive Maintenance
Prepare an IT preventive-maintenance schedule.
Conduct regular checks of IT infrastructure.
Identify potential technical failures before they affect operations.
Maintain maintenance and service records.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Bachelor's/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
2–5 years of relevant IT experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting.
Good understanding of LAN, Wi-Fi, routers and switches.
Basic knowledge of CCTV/DVR/NVR systems.
Experience with POS/billing systems preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication and vendor-management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced entertainment environment.
Willingness to work on weekends/holidays and rotational shifts when required
