SAP Data Migration / EIM Consultant
Location: Remote within Europe, with occasional travel to Helsinki, Finland
Contract: Freelance / Independent Contractor
Duration: 7 months + extensions
Hours: 40 hours per week
We are looking for an experienced SAP Data Migration / Enterprise Information Management Consultant to support a major international SAP programme.
The successful consultant will have a strong background in SAP Data Migration and SAP Enterprise Information Management, with hands-on experience across SAP migration tools, data structures, ETL processes and technical interfaces.
You will support the migration of data into SAP environments, working closely with functional and technical teams to understand data models, dependencies and transformation requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Support end-to-end SAP data migration activities
Work across SAP Enterprise Information Management and data migration workstreams
Configure and adapt SAP data migration and loading tools
Analyse source and target data structures
Understand and manage data dependencies across SAP processes
Support data extraction, transformation and loading activities
Work with functional and technical teams to resolve migration issues
Support the development and execution of migration cycles
Troubleshoot technical issues relating to data loads and interfaces
Support data quality and transformation activities
Help ensure successful migration into the target SAP environment
Required Experience
Strong experience delivering SAP Data Migration projects
Experience within SAP Enterprise Information Management / EIM environments
Excellent knowledge of standard SAP migration tools including:
LTMC
DMC
LSMW
Strong technical understanding of SAP migration tools, including the ability to configure and adjust loading solutions
Experience with ABAP
Experience working with IDocs and BAPIs
Strong understanding of SAP data models, data flows and dependencies
Strong knowledge of ETL processes
Experience working across data migration, data integration and data quality activities
Ability to work effectively across technical and functional SAP teams
Fluent English
Additional Requirements
Candidates must be based within Europe
Occasional travel of up to 25% may be required at peak periods
The role can be delivered remotely within Europe, outside of required onsite workshops
