Role Description The Subject Matter Expert (SME) will provide deep domain and process expertise to support project teams and clients in delivering high-quality solutions. In this full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, the SME will analyze business requirements, validate solution designs, and ensure alignment with best practices and industry standards. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, documenting processes, creating knowledge materials, and supporting training and enablement activities. The SME will review work outputs for accuracy, provide guidance on complex issues, and participate in client meetings to clarify requirements and recommend improvements. The role also involves staying current on relevant industry trends, tools, and regulations to continuously enhance delivery quality and client outcomes.
Qualifications
Strong domain expertise in a specific industry or functional area, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear guidance for project teams.
Experience in business analysis, process mapping, and solution validation, including creating and reviewing documentation and workflows.
Proficiency in stakeholder communication, including facilitating discussions, presenting recommendations, and managing expectations.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional, on-site teams in Hyderabad, with strong organizational and time management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Engineering, Technology, Business, or related discipline); advanced certifications or postgraduate education are an advantage.
Prior experience in a subject matter expert, consultant, or senior analyst role within an IT services or consulting environment is highly beneficial.
Comfort with learning and using enterprise tools and platforms, and openness to continuous upskilling as business and technology needs evolve.
