Senior Engineer - Finishing

Role Description The Senior Engineer – Finishing is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, responsible for overseeing all finishing activities across residential and commercial projects. This role includes planning and supervising finishing works such as flooring, painting, false ceilings, joinery, fixtures, and fittings to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and timelines. The Senior Engineer will coordinate with site engineers, contractors, vendors, and design teams, resolve technical issues on-site, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities also include conducting inspections, monitoring progress, managing material requirements, and preparing reports on quality, costs, and schedules. The role is expected to contribute to continuous improvement in finishing standards and support the delivery of premium, lifestyle-focused spaces.
Qualifications
Solid experience in finishing works supervision, including flooring, painting, carpentry, false ceiling, and interior fit-outs.
Strong project execution skills in site management, coordination with contractors and vendors, and construction scheduling.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings and specifications, with working knowledge of relevant building codes and standards.
Experience with quality control practices, inspection procedures, and adherence to safety and compliance requirements.
Ability to use basic construction and office software (e.g., MS Office, project tracking tools; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools is an advantage).
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; prior experience in high-end residential or commercial projects is highly desirable.
Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail in finishing quality.
