Clinical Informatics Specialist

For our client, we are seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.
This role will support the optimization of clinical systems by bridging the gap between care delivery, technology, and operational workflows. You will partner with clinicians, technical teams, and vendor stakeholders to improve EHR functionality, streamline integrations, and enhance the end-user experience. The position also plays an important role in translating clinical needs into practical system configurations, support processes, and training resources.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $102,739 – $133,560 annually
Responsibilities
Lead clinical informatics initiatives to optimize EHR and clinical systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clinical requirements are met in software design
Gather feedback from healthcare providers to enhance system performance and user experience
Contribute to data interoperability initiatives and assess vendor integrations
Configure and sustain clinical applications in alignment with workflow requirements
Provide tier-2 application support and escalate issues as necessary
Develop training materials and documents for user onboarding and support
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Health Informatics, Nursing, Information Systems, or a related field
3-5+ years of experience in clinical informatics, clinical application support, or health IT
Hands-on experience configuring and supporting EHR systems; experience with Athenahealth is a strong plus
Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7, FHIR, and APIs
Strong communication and change management skills, with the ability to translate clinical needs into technical solutions
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
