Data Science Senior Advisor

For our client, we are seeking a Data Science Senior Advisor to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.
This role will lead advanced analytics efforts that inform pharmacy and health outcomes initiatives across the organization. The position will partner with stakeholders to shape evaluation approaches, translate complex data into actionable insights, and support informed decision-making for senior leaders. It also offers the opportunity to mentor analysts, improve reporting efficiency, and contribute to high-impact research and program evaluation work.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $131,200 – $218,600 annually
Responsibilities
Lead complex analytics projects related to pharmacy and health outcomes
Design and conduct in-depth program evaluations and research studies
Analyze large healthcare datasets to identify actionable business insights
Collaborate with stakeholders to establish project objectives and methodologies
Present findings to diverse audiences, including senior leadership
Manage multiple projects, ensuring timeline and deliverable adherence
Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in analytics
Identify automation opportunities to enhance reporting and efficiency
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in healthcare analytics or a related field
Strong background in healthcare claims data analysis
Advanced proficiency in SQL and familiarity with analytical tools such as Python and R
Proven leadership in managing complex analytical projects
Experience in health outcomes research and causal inference methods
Strong communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical audiences
Mentorship experience for analysts is an asset
