Physician (Home Based Primary Care Medical Director)

For our client, we are seeking a Physician (Home Based Primary Care Medical Director) to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space.
This remote leadership role is focused on guiding home-based primary care services for medically complex patients who benefit from care delivered in the home. The physician will oversee clinical operations, support staff, and help ensure high-quality care delivery across the program. This position also requires close collaboration with interdisciplinary colleagues to strengthen patient care, address concerns, and support education for medical staff.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $180,000 – $220,000 annually
Responsibilities
Oversee clinical supervision of home-based primary care program staff
Manage overall clinical care for patients served through the home-based primary care program
Improve medical systems to support quality care delivery
Monitor care appropriateness for patients in the program
Collaborate on patient complaints and unusual occurrences
Conduct home visits to patients when necessary
Formulate educational programs for medical staff
Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship required
Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution
Current, unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
Completed residency training in an accredited program
Proficiency in spoken and written English
Experience in geriatrics or elder care preferred
Experience working with interdisciplinary teams preferred
