Role Description The Jr Engineer role at Prestige Service is a full-time, on-site position based in Dhanbad. The Jr Engineer will assist senior engineers with routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment and systems. Responsibilities include supporting project execution, preparing basic technical documentation, collecting and analyzing operational data, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth workflows. The Jr Engineer will follow safety standards, participate in regular reviews, and contribute to process improvements. This role is designed for individuals who want hands-on experience in engineering operations and are willing to work in a structured, on-site environment.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge in engineering principles (e.g., mechanical, electrical, civil, or related discipline), supported by a diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related field.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, basic schematics, and standard operating procedures.
Competence in using common engineering tools, measurement instruments, and basic computer applications (such as MS Office for documentation and reporting).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to assist in troubleshooting equipment and process issues under supervision.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with supervisors, peers, and cross-functional teams, and to document observations clearly.
Willingness to work on-site in Dhanbad, follow safety guidelines, and adhere to company policies and quality standards.
Ability to learn quickly, take feedback constructively, and adapt to changing operational needs.
Prior internship or entry-level experience in an engineering or industrial environment is an advantage.
