Senior Director AI/ML Engineering - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director AI/ML Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.
This senior leadership role will shape and execute the AI/ML engineering strategy across the enterprise, with a focus on delivering scalable solutions that improve client engagement and operational performance. The position will translate business priorities into high-impact AI products and workflows, while driving responsible adoption of Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities. It will also partner closely with business and technology leaders to identify opportunities that improve revenue, productivity, and overall business outcomes.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $203,200 – $348,400 annually
Responsibilities
Define and execute the AI/ML engineering strategy aligned with enterprise growth objectives
Establish a multi-year roadmap for AI-powered client engagement and operational capabilities
Identify and prioritize high-value AI opportunities for revenue and productivity improvements
Translate business opportunities into scalable AI-enabled products and workflows
Drive measurable business outcomes from AI investments
Build and lead high-performing teams of AI and data engineers
Champion responsible and compliant AI practices
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline
12+ years of progressive technology leadership experience
8+ years leading engineering organizations delivering enterprise-scale software, data, or AI solutions
Experience leading AI/ML engineering teams in production with Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions
Proven track record of leading organizational transformation through technology innovation
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
