Project Engineering Mgr - L5

For our client, we are seeking a Project Engineering Mgr - L5 to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.
This role will oversee project engineering efforts that keep complex programs on schedule, within budget, and aligned to technical and business objectives. The position requires close partnership with stakeholders across functions to drive execution, resolve issues, and support delivery of critical initiatives in a fast-paced environment. The manager will also guide project staffing, planning, and performance management while maintaining strong control over milestones, reporting, and resource allocation.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $161,300 – $299,500 annually
Responsibilities
Coordinate recruitment, selection, training, and performance assessment of project staff
Manage agile teams for delivery schedules and releases
Collaborate with stakeholders to align project goals with business needs
Establish and monitor project milestones and master plans
Serve as Control Account Manager for a major enterprise control initiative
Manage project budgets, schedules, and status reporting
Identify and resolve program issues and allocate resources effectively
Qualifications
3+ years of Project/Program Management experience
3+ years of Earned Value Management experience
U.S. citizenship required for system access
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and balance technical and business needs
Demonstrated collaboration skills across organizational levels
Experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments
