Senior Frontend Software Engineer, Consumer Engineering

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, Consumer Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Media space.
This role will focus on building and evolving user-facing experiences that drive engagement and improve the overall consumer product experience. You will partner closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions across the full software lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings strong frontend expertise, backend familiarity, and a user-centric mindset to help shape high-quality digital experiences at scale.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $190,800 – $267,100 annually
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable and efficient technical solutions
Manage the entire software lifecycle for product initiatives
Design and run A/B experiments to evaluate user engagement
Build and maintain scalable APIs and backend services
Implement engineering best practices and mentor team members
Qualifications
6+ years of software development experience in front-end programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, and ES6
Familiarity with front-end web frameworks such as LIT, Polymer, React, Vue, or Angular
Experience with GraphQL, REST, and API design preferred
Comfortable with modern workflows and AI-assisted engineering tools
5+ years of experience in backend development for large-scale distributed systems
Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
User-centric mindset emphasizing usability and interaction design
