DevOps Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This role will help architect and support the infrastructure that powers a technology-driven financial services business, with a strong emphasis on reliability, automation, and security. The engineer will partner closely with application, data, and operations teams to keep cloud systems performant and scalable. There is also meaningful ownership of infrastructure supporting AI, data science, and ML workloads in a regulated environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $138,000+ annually
Responsibilities
Architect, automate, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform
Oversee system reliability, performance, and monitoring using Grafana, Sentry, and Laravel Nightwatch
Manage infrastructure for AI, data science, and ML workloads
Drive security and compliance efforts for SOC2 and PCI DSS audits
Develop and maintain internal tools to support cross-functional teams
Manage integrations and internal tools related to AI
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
Strong expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and automation
Strong security mindset
Strong coding background and willingness to learn PHP/Laravel stack
Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
Ability to manage infrastructure for AI/ML/Data Science workloads
