Senior Architecture Manager - Data Centers & Mission Critical Infrastructure

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Architecture Manager - Data Centers & Mission Critical Infrastructure to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.
This role will lead architectural planning and design management for mission-critical facilities that support complex operational needs. The position will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, guide design standards, and help ensure projects move from concept through construction with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and growth. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in data center and critical infrastructure environments, along with the ability to align design decisions with business and operational objectives.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $180,000 – $250,000 annually
Responsibilities
Lead architectural programming, planning, and design management activities for diverse project types
Establish design criteria and standards for mission-critical environments
Ensure designs support operational efficiency and long-term growth strategies
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and facilitate design review meetings
Serve as the architectural lead during construction and verify compliance with design intent
Ensure facility designs comply with applicable building codes and industry standards
Incorporate sustainable design strategies and support initiatives for environmental stewardship
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
Licensed Architect (RA) in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Minimum 10 years of architecture, design management, or project leadership experience
Minimum 5 years supporting mission-critical, technology, industrial, healthcare, laboratory, or large-scale infrastructure projects
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects from concept through construction completion
Strong understanding of data center design principles and critical facility infrastructure
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
