Sr. Project Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.
This role will lead large-scale professional services implementations from kickoff through go-live, with a strong focus on project planning, execution, and customer-facing delivery. The Sr. Project Manager will partner closely with clients and internal teams to manage scope, budgets, risks, and milestones across complex, long-duration engagements. Success in this position will depend on transparent communication, strong organization, and the ability to keep multiple projects moving forward in a structured and accountable way.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $140,000 – $160,000 annually
Responsibilities
Manage large professional services implementations from start to finish using established project management principles.
Track project health, manage risks, and report progress transparently.
Use Jira for project tracking against standard templates and maintain relevant customer records.
Oversee go-live readiness and ensure smooth transitions to Customer Success teams.
Build strong relationships with clients and serve as the project escalation point.
Facilitate collaboration among internal teams to ensure project success.
Support business development efforts by participating in proposals and budget estimates.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience implementing COTS software for government clients.
5+ years leading $1M+ budgeted projects lasting 12+ months.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Experience owning project budgets and scope discussions directly with clients.
Technical degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Proficient in Jira and Confluence, with the ability to build and manage dashboards.
Strong organizational and analytical skills with effective communication abilities.
