Lead Director, Business Performance ( Medicaid)

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Director, Business Performance ( Medicaid) to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.
This leader will guide the reporting and performance management strategy for Medicaid-related initiatives, turning complex data into clear insights for executives and operating partners. The role will focus on building governance, scorecards, and analytics that help drive stronger program outcomes, service delivery, and decision-making. This person will work closely with business leaders and cross-functional partners to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement across the Medicaid organization.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $100,000 – $231,540 annually
Responsibilities
Lead development and oversight of Medicaid program reporting solutions
Transform business objectives into actionable analytics and dashboards
Identify program performance improvement opportunities through data insights
Advise executives on outcomes, risks, and performance trends
Establish governance frameworks for Medicaid initiatives and partnerships
Create executive scorecards and KPIs for performance monitoring
Collaborate with partners to enhance program effectiveness and service delivery
Qualifications
8+ years of leadership experience in healthcare, managed care, or consulting
5+ years of experience leading high-performance teams
Significant familiarity with Medicaid managed care organizations and state programs
Experience with healthcare claims and encounter data for decision-making
Proven ability to develop executive-level reporting frameworks
