Senior Technical Program Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.
This role will lead complex, cross-functional technology programs from concept through production, ensuring execution stays aligned to strategic goals. You will partner closely with engineering and other stakeholders to shape priorities, manage risks, and keep software delivery on track. The position also plays a key role in release management, process improvement, and the adoption of AI-assisted SDLC practices. Success in this role will come from strong technical depth, clear communication, and the ability to influence outcomes across a globally distributed environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $134,500 – $201,700 annually
Responsibilities
Define and guide high-level goals and roadmaps for product and technology programs from conception to production
Shape investment decisions for engineering time based on data analysis
Monitor and communicate progress toward goals, surfacing risks early to stakeholders
Lead technical discussions with engineering teams, leveraging deep system architecture understanding
Drive release management processes to ensure software quality and readiness for production
Refine AI-assisted SDLC processes to support effective tool adoption without compromising rigor
Identify process gaps and design implementable solutions to enhance efficiency
Collaborate across functions and influence outcomes without direct authority
Qualifications
Proven technical program management experience with measurable results in complex, cross-functional programs
Strong understanding of system architecture and technical depth to engage with engineering teams
Ability to lead change management in globally distributed, matrixed environments
Experience defining and guiding high-level goals and roadmaps for technology initiatives
Data-driven approach to shaping investment decisions
