AI Infrastructure Architect - Senior Manager

For our client, we are seeking a AI Infrastructure Architect - Senior Manager to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.
This role will shape the technical foundation for AI operations and integrations, with a strong focus on scalable architecture, governance, and production readiness. The ideal candidate will define reusable patterns that enable secure model access, networking, deployment, and automation across the enterprise. This position will partner closely with security, engineering, and business stakeholders to turn governance requirements into practical infrastructure solutions.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $175,000 – $245,000 annually
Responsibilities
Lead technical architecture design for AI operations and integrations
Define patterns for model access, networking, and production deployment
Design and implement core control-plane patterns for AI governance
Create reusable infrastructure as code and deployment templates
Mentor AI infrastructure engineers through design and code reviews
Collaborate with various functions to enforce security and governance controls
Document architectural standards and onboarding processes for workloads
Qualifications
8+ years of experience designing and building cloud, AI, or distributed systems platforms
4+ years of direct experience with AWS or similar cloud infrastructure
Strong hands-on programming skills and infrastructure automation experience
Proficiency in using AI tools for system building and automation
Ability to translate governance and business requirements into engineering patterns
