We are hiring 6 Engineers – Third-Party Inspection for the Electrical Research & Development Association (ERDA) at Makarpura GIDC, Vadodara, Gujarat.
Position Details:
Position: Engineer – Third Party Inspection
Location: Makarpura GIDC, Vadodara, Gujarat
Openings: 06
Employment: Fixed-term employment on ERDA rolls for an initial period of 3 years
Qualification: B.E. in Electrical & Electronics
Experience: 4–8 years in relevant inspection roles
Salary: ₹4–7 LPA
What You’ll Do:
Conduct third-party material inspections and vendor assessments at manufacturing facilities across India.
Inspect electrical products including transformers, cables, conductors, energy meters, switchgear, and other electrical materials.
Conduct factory inspections, quality control checks, and testing activities.
Plan, coordinate, and execute inspection assignments received from customers across India.
Review inspection findings and prepare final inspection reports.
Coordinate with customers regarding inspection schedules and outstanding payments.
Support business development by identifying potential opportunities across India.
Travel extensively for inspection assignments, approximately 20 days per month.
Work in rotational shifts based on operational requirements.
Ideal Candidate:
You should have:
✔️ Hands-on experience in third-party inspection
✔️ Experience in factory inspection and quality control
✔️ Knowledge of testing electrical products
✔️ Understanding of relevant national and international standards
✔️ Strong report-writing and communication skills
✔️ Good command of English and Hindi
✔️ Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
✔️ Willingness to travel extensively across India
Candidates preference: The company is looking for Vadodara residents, since the job is in the city. Also, candidates who have pursued their education B.E. in Electrical & Electronics are invited due to the qualification required by the position.
