Senior Survey Programming, Operations & AI Innovation Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Survey Programmer & Operations Manager with a strong interest in AI‑driven innovation to lead the technical delivery of complex quantitative research programmes across multi‑market studies and large‑scale trackers.
This is a hands‑on technical role combining advanced survey scripting, data processing, workflow automation, and AI‑enabled operational improvement.
The role
You will take ownership of complex survey builds, data workflows and automation processes that underpin high‑quality research delivery. Alongside core programming responsibilities, you’ll explore and implement AI‑powered enhancements — from smarter QC workflows to automated data checks, scripting accelerators, and operational optimisation.
You’ll act as a senior technical problem‑solver, improving processes, strengthening QA, and helping modernise and scale technical delivery through both traditional programming and emerging AI tools.
Key responsibilities
Advanced survey scripting using Decipher, Forsta/Confirmit, Dimensions, Qualtrics or similar
Data processing & transformation using SPSS, Q, DisplayR or equivalent
AI‑enabled workflow automation including API‑driven processes and operational tooling
Quality assurance & logic checking using both traditional QC and AI‑assisted validation
Technical troubleshooting for complex builds and multi‑market studies
Operational oversight managing dependencies, timelines and delivery risks
Process improvement including documentation, automation and AI‑driven optimisation
Cross‑team collaboration translating technical issues into clear operational or commercial impact
About you
You will likely have:
5+ years’ hands‑on experience as a survey programmer or technical operations specialist
Deep scripting capability across Decipher, Forsta/Confirmit, Dimensions, Qualtrics, or similar
Strong understanding of quantitative data workflows, cross‑tabs, dashboards and reporting outputs
Experience with SPSS, Q, DisplayR, or equivalent
Practical experience with Python, SQL, JavaScript, APIs or workflow automation
Curiosity and capability around AI tools, prompting, automation and operational optimisation
Strong organisational skills and calmness under pressure
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple teams
