Sr. C# and Database developer

Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Sr. C# and Database Developer. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and databases for enterprise applications using C#, .NET, and SQL. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and testable code, optimizing database queries and structures, and troubleshooting performance and scalability issues. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement new features, and ensure code quality through reviews, unit testing, and adherence to best practices. The role also includes mentoring junior developers, contributing to architectural decisions, and supporting production systems when needed.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering concepts.
Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development using C#, .NET, and API design for scalable server-side applications.
Proven background in Software Development, covering the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment and maintenance.
Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with the ability to write modular, reusable, and maintainable code.
Expertise in relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL or similar), including schema design, query optimization, and stored procedures.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in an on-site environment.
Experience with performance tuning, security best practices, and cloud or containerized environments is an advantage.
