About the role: As we continue our expansion of the APAC market, we are looking for a Country Manager to launch and lead the market in Thailand. We are looking for a well connected sales leader with expert-level knowledge of programmatic to help grow the business, plan the GTM strategy, and eventually build a high-performing team, with the ultimate goal of driving revenue across the region.
What you’ll do:
• Develop and implement a sales strategy to extract sales opportunities both with agencies/brands and media owners to position Vistar Media in Thailand
• Establish Vistar’s value proposition based on market needs and Vistar’s core capabilities
• Directly drive revenue across holding companies, agencies, and brands across Thailand
• Strengthen Vistar’s product market fit by collaborating closely with Vistar’s solution development teams
• Develop and track key sales performance metrics with accountability for driving results
• Implement a go-to-market strategy, manage and optimize a win-win collaboration with the trading departments of larger agencies
• Understand customers’ demand, develop concepts, calculations, and proposals for media owners, and manage the relationship with technology partners
• As the market grows, establish and manage a high performing team in the region
• Represent the company in assigned events and other sales activities such as trade shows, speeches, interviews, etc.
What experience we’re looking for:
• Excellent understanding of digital advertising technology and trading; programmatic, mobile, audio, data, currency tracking, and attribution
• Extensive experience in solutions sales in digital advertising
• Experience launching and growing a business from the ground up in Thailand
• A strong network of direct client and agency relationships, and a network of contacts across the industry in Thailand
• Proven ability to build client relationships at all levels of seniority, demonstrating retention and growth strategies
• Demonstrable knowledge of OOH media and advertising
• Experience in negotiating contracts and trading agreements, ensuring fulfillment of these deals
• At least 8 years of experience in a sales leadership role with another DSP or advertising technology company
