Evaluates, selects and applies advanced design and technical methods, with responsibility for project assignments including programming, design development, production and coordination through tender documents which may be multiple, large or complex in scope.
We are looking for a motivated, talented, and energetic Designer to join our growing Structures and Bridges Design team in London, working from Dar’s local offices in Pune or Bangalore, India. You will become an integral part of the London-based design team, working closely with colleagues in London and across the wider Dar and Sidara network on exciting bridge and civil infrastructure projects around the globe.
Our team brings together architecture, engineering, landscape, and urban design within a collaborative design environment. We are particularly interested in designers who can create beauty from functionality and rationality, with a strong focus on user experience and design quality.
We are seeking a candidate to contribute at a design level across multiple international projects, ideally with around 4 years of professional experience. Candidates with prior experience in urban, infrastructure, or complex architectural projects, particularly bridges, will stand out. Proficiency in Rhino, Grasshopper, and Maya is strongly preferred.

About You
To be considered for the role, you should demonstrate:
Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent professional architecture qualification, preferably from a leading architecture school.
Around 4 years of professional experience in architecture, urban design, infrastructure, or a related field.
Confidence in dealing with complex 3D modelling, with excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage demanding deadlines.
A collaborative mindset, with initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to be challenged.
In addition, the ideal candidate will:
Share our passion for great infrastructure and align with our practice ethos.
Possess strong design skills, with the ability to develop bold and compelling architectural concepts.
Demonstrate an excellent understanding of form, geometry, materiality, and spatial experience.
Be proficient in relevant software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and 3D design software such as Rhino, Grasshopper, and Maya.
Have a strong interest in computational and parametric design.
