Role Description The Facade Engineer will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and optimizing façade systems for building projects, ensuring performance, safety, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing design calculations and drawings, coordinating with architects, structural engineers, and contractors, and evaluating materials and systems for building envelopes. The role involves conducting technical assessments related to structural performance, thermal behavior, air and water tightness, and overall façade durability. The engineer will also support site teams with technical guidance during fabrication and installation, troubleshoot design or execution issues, and contribute to quality assurance processes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mundra.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Building Envelope and Facade design, including understanding of materials, assemblies, and performance requirements.
Candidates should possess skills in Facade Design and general Facade engineering, including detail development, system selection, and coordination with architectural concepts.
Candidates should possess skills in Structural Engineering related to façades, including load calculations, support systems, and compliance with structural codes.
Candidates should possess skills in Building Physics, including thermal performance, energy efficiency, moisture control, and acoustic considerations for façade systems.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Experience with CAD/BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and façade analysis software is highly beneficial.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and quality.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary project teams and site personnel.
