Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Specialist Dermatologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive dermatological care, including patient consultations, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of a wide range of dermatological conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed dermatological consultations, physical examinations, and clinical assessments.
Diagnose and manage a broad range of skin, hair, and nail disorders.
Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients medical history, clinical condition, and individual healthcare needs.
Diagnose and treat conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, fungal infections, pigmentation disorders, alopecia, urticaria, and other dermatological conditions.
Perform minor dermatological procedures within the scope of professional qualifications and licensing.
Conduct and interpret relevant dermatological investigations and diagnostic procedures.
Provide medical and procedural dermatology services in accordance with established clinical guidelines.
Evaluate patients for appropriate dermatological and cosmetic procedures, where applicable.
Provide appropriate pre-procedure and post-procedure care, including patient follow-up.
Monitor treatment progress and adjust treatment plans when clinically required.
Prescribe appropriate medications and topical therapies and monitor patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential patient medical records.
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and high-quality patient care.
Maintain professional knowledge and stay updated with current developments and best practices in dermatology.
Requirements
Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
Recognized postgraduate qualification in Dermatology.
MD / DNB / Board / Fellowship / PhD or equivalent recognized qualification in Dermatology.
Valid medical registration/license from the relevant regulatory authority, where applicable.
Several years of experience in Dermatology.
Several years of relevant post-qualification experience in Dermatology.
Strong knowledge of evidence-based dermatological diagnosis and treatment.
Experience in medical dermatology and dermatological procedures is preferred.
Experience in cosmetic dermatology is an advantage.
Strong clinical, diagnostic, and procedural skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
