AI & Automation Technical Consultant

In this role, you will provide comprehensive advice to business departments, product owners, and development teams on the conception and implementation of AI and automation use cases, always keeping in mind the business value, technical feasibility, and sustainable scalability.
You will play a key role in designing and implementing a unified target architecture for AI- and automation-based solutions by guiding initiatives from the early idea phase to final realization and ensuring strategic alignment.
To develop holistic, user-oriented solutions, you will actively shape the interplay of backend, frontend, analytics, user interface, and user flow for both AI and automation components.
You will precisely evaluate requirements, technological options, and architectural decisions in the context of AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, and enterprise automation platforms, and derive concrete implementation recommendations from them.
At the interface between business, design, and development, you will establish standards and structures, ensuring that business requirements are translated into consistent solution approaches for new AI-powered and automated applications.
Language: Advanced English (written and spoken), German would be nice to have.
Education: Completed university degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field.
Experience and Know-how: Several years of experience in IT project management with a focus on AI and/or automation; practical experience with generative AI technologies and their implementation, ideally also with Agentic AI; strong technical understanding and experience consulting on or implementing AI and automation use cases in a corporate environment; a good understanding of modern software architectures and the interplay of backend, frontend, analytics, and UX/UI; experience in interdisciplinary project or transformation environments.
Personality and Working Style: You are able to analytically penetrate complex issues, prepare them in a structured manner, and develop convincing concepts from them; you have strong consulting skills and skillfully bring together different perspectives from business, design, and technology; you convince stakeholders at all levels with your communication skills; you show high initiative and enjoy shaping new topics both strategically and operationally.
