DevOps Engineer with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

We seek an accomplished technologist to join our Romania Delivery Unit, tasked with delivering Cloud Landing Zones and modernization projects for various key accounts and industry domains.
This presents a market-first opportunity to serve as an infrastructure subject matter expert, providing technical guidance on solutions design, governance, security, operations, and cost control best practices. Your contributions will significantly impact the continued growth of our GCP capability.
Work with customers to design and build cloud-based infrastructures and landing zones
Assist with the creation of Infrastructure architectures and technical documentation
Design and implement:
Secure cloud foundational cloud implementations
Automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications
Cloud-ready applications architecture
Deliver end-to-end cloud-based infrastructure management solutions
Present Infrastructure modernization strategy to C-level executives
Improvements to monitoring, logging and observability in Client environments
Defining and implementing cloud infrastructure governance and building deployment standards
Working cross-functionally with our delivery management team.
Google Cloud Platform certification, along with a minimum of 4 years of practical experience using its suite of tools, is required.
Hands-on Terraform and Infrastructure as Code development
Experience with virtualization: servers, storage, networks
Experience with infrastructure-based processes such as:
Monitoring
Capacity planning
Performance tuning
Disaster Recovery
Data center exit
Experience with Google’s Cloud Foundation Toolkit and Landing Zone implementations
Experience with data center exit strategies
