Technicians - Sample Reception - Fixed Term 12 months

We are currently recruiting for 2 full-time fixed term (12 months) Technicians for our Sample Reception department. AsureQuality is the largest Food Testing Laboratory in Australasia, based in Lynfield, Auckland. Our laboratory is open 7 days a week with rosters between 6am and 8:30pm. The roster for these positions is Monday to Friday 12pm-8.30pm
Key Responsibilities:
Unpacking samples checking sample integrity on arrival.
Registration of samples into the Laboratory system..
Maintaining temperature records and keeping training records up to date.
Assisting Customer Service and the Laboratory Technical teams with any queries.
Splitting/subsampling samples by applying aseptic techniques for subsampling processes.
Key Requirements:
Flexibility to work overtime at short notice is ideal.
Experience in a food laboratory, retail, hospitality, or production/warehouse environment would be an advantage.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to consistently producing high-quality work.
Ability to thrive in a highly regulated and fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills to meet targets and deadlines.
Clear and concise verbal and written communication abilities.
A proactive approach to workplace safety.
