We are looking for an experienced HDPE/MDPE Lead – Design & Engineering in PIPING to lead the engineering and designfunction for the Industrial Division. The role will be responsible for developing engineering solutions,reviewing designs, preparing technical specifications and drawings, supporting estimation and projectexecution, and ensuring that engineering deliverables meet project, client and industry requirements.The position will work closely with Business Development, Projects, Procurement, Site Execution and otherstakeholders to convert customer requirements into technically feasible and commercially viable engineering solutions.REQUIRED SKILLS• Industrial Piping & Water Systems• Design (AutoCAD & Design Tools) & Engineering Documentation• Hydraulic & Technical Calculations• P&ID, GA & Isometric Drawings• BOQ, MTO & Technical Specifications• Design Review & Coordination• Vendor & Client Coordination• Team Leadership & Project PlanningKEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead end-to-end design and engineering for Industrial Water and piping projects.Review client requirements, project specifications and site conditions and develop practical engineering solutions.
Develop and review P&IDs, GA, piping layouts, isometrics, fabrication and shop drawings.
Perform and review hydraulic, pipe sizing and equipment sizing calculations.
Prepare and review BOQs, MTOs, technical specifications and engineering documents.
Provide technical inputs for tenders, RFQs, estimation and project proposals.
Coordinate with Business Development, Procurement, vendors, clients and consultants on technical requirements and approvals.
Provide engineering support to project execution teams and resolve site-related technical issues.
Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, specifications and quality requirements.
Drive design optimization, value engineering, standardization and cost-effective solutions.
Establish engineering standards, templates and documentation practices for the Industrial Division.
Lead, mentor and manage the Design & Engineering team while ensuring timely project deliverables.
Support development of engineering solutions for new industrial applications and market segments.
ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS Educational Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Functional Skills • 10–15 years of experience in Design & Engineering, preferably in Industrial Piping, Water, EPC, Manufacturing or Process Industries.• Strong expertise in industrial piping, water systems, P&IDs, hydraulic calculations, BOQ/MTO and technical documentation.• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and relevant engineering design ools.• Experience reviewing engineering, vendor and fabrication drawings.• Strong coordination skills with clients, consultants, vendors and project teams.• 2–3 years of experience leading a Design & Engineering team.• Strong technical problem-solving, planning and stakeholder management skills.• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables in a fast-paced EPC environment.
