Role Description The Electrical Engineer will work on-site in Fatehgarh in a full-time capacity, supporting the commissioning, testing, and validation of electrical systems for various projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing electrical designs, performing calculations, inspecting installations, and ensuring systems comply with safety codes, standards, and client specifications. The role involves coordinating with project managers, contractors, and other engineers, preparing technical documentation and reports, and troubleshooting issues related to power distribution and power systems. The Electrical Engineer will also participate in site inspections, support system start-up activities, and contribute to continuous improvement of commissioning procedures and practices.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, including understanding of electricity principles and applied engineering concepts.
Proficiency in Electrical Design, with the ability to interpret schematics, layouts, and technical drawings.
Experience with Power Distribution systems, including panel boards, switchgear, and protective devices.
Knowledge of Power Systems analysis and operation, including load calculations, fault analysis, and system reliability.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, national regulations).
Ability to work on-site, perform field inspections, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to safety and quality.
Prior experience in commissioning or industrial projects is an advantage.
