About Discovr AI
Discovr AI is building an AI-native platform for creator advertising. We help brands and agencies automate creator discovery, campaign execution, content intelligence, brand safety, and reporting.
Our platform uses AI agents to reason over creator data, campaign requirements, content, brand guidelines, and real-time signals.
We are looking for a Lead Engineer – AI Platform to own the architecture and development of this platform as we scale.
What You Will Own
● Design and build Discovr AI’s core backend and AI platform.
● Build scalable APIs, services, databases, data pipelines, and external integrations.
● Develop production-grade AI systems using LLMs, agents, RAG, retrieval, and structured workflows.
● Take new capabilities from prototype to reliable production deployment.
● Improve system accuracy, latency, reliability, scalability, and cost.
● Make practical architecture decisions based on product and business requirements.
● Lead a small engineering team through technical planning, code reviews, mentoring, and delivery.
● Work directly with Product and Founders to convert ambiguous problems into scalable products.
● Remain hands-on with critical development, debugging, and production issues.
What We’re Looking For
● 5–6 years of software engineering experience in a backend-heavy full-stack role.
● Strong proficiency in Python and backend system design.
● Experience building and scaling a B2B SaaS or AI SaaS product.
● Hands-on experience with LLM applications, AI agents, RAG, or similar AI systems.
● Strong understanding of APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.
● Evidence of taking a product from 0→1 and scaling it for real customer usage.
● Experience technically leading or managing a small engineering team.
● Ability to balance architecture, hands-on coding, team execution, and product priorities.
● Strong ownership, debugging, and problem-solving ability.
● Willingness to work from our Mumbai office.
Strongly Preferred
● Experience building an AI-native platform from the ground up.
● Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, or equivalent agent frameworks.
● Experience with model evaluation, monitoring, observability, and guardrails.
● Experience handling large datasets and complex third-party integrations.
● Strong GitHub, open-source, or personal product-building track record.
The Ideal Candidate
● You are a hands-on technical leader who has built and scaled real products, not someone who has only managed engineering teams.
● You can understand an unclear business problem, design the architecture, build the critical components, and guide a small team through execution.
● You can clearly explain what you personally built, the scale it reached, the problems encountered, and the measurable improvements you delivered.
